Jack Steffen & Gabriella Aguirre
Jack is an 18-year-old senior who has been homeschooled for most of his academic experience. He has been studying at the College Academy at South Florida Bible College for the last two years, and plans to continue his education to pursue a career in economics and public policy. Jack serves his community through the United Nations Messengers of Peace program. This program serves as his inspiration to help bridge the socioeconomic gap between underserved youth and mental health support.
Gabriella is 18 years old and has been a student at College Academy at South Florida Bible College for a duration of two years. She has been homeschooled all her life, commencing with Classical Conversations, and later transitioning to Renaissance Scholars during her middle school years. Furthermore, she actively supports her parents' business operations by handling tasks such as managing phone calls and engaging in out-of-state business endeavors. With an aspiration to pursue a career in neuroscience, Gabriella aims to specialize as a neurosurgeon through her collegiate studies.

Our goal is to help homeschoolers become fully equipped to embark on their college application
journey with confidence and success. This in-depth presentation will include how to navigate the
Common App and effectively craft the Common App essay. We will also dive into the
significance of extracurricular activities, securing impactful letters of recommendation, preparing
for standardized tests like the SAT/ACT, and highlighting achievements through awards and
honors.
