Mariana Mendes Da Silva & Milena Autero
Mariana is 17 years old and has been a College Academy student at South Florida Bible College since her sophomore year. She was brought up as a homeschool student her whole life and has taken college classes at both South Florida Bible College and Broward College. She is currently pursuing an associate's degree in psychology and aspires to further her studies in medicine and surgery. Mariana is involved with College Academy student council, math tutoring, and worship while also being dedicated to her studies and her job as a library assistant at South Florida Bible College.
Milena is 18 years old and has been a student at the College Academy at South Florida Bible College since tenth grade. Upon her graduation this spring, she will be receiving not only her high school diploma but also her Associates in Business Administration. She is a highly competitive ice dancer and the 2023 U.S. Novice Solo Dance National Champion and 2024 Washington Picken Junior Solo Dance International Bronze Medalist. While being fully dedicated to her academics and athletics, Milena is also involved with the Student council, currently serving as its President, and volunteers as Teacher Assistant and tutor for various College Academy classes. In the future Milena hopes to study international relations and have a career in foreign service.

Mariana and Milena will talk to other high school students on how to apply for college using the Common App, strategies on being successful on SAT/ACTs, and other very important information for the process of applying for colleges, such as extracurricular activities, recommendation letters, and awards that will help students start their higher education journey with great scholarships
